Our thoughts are with the forest fire evacuees who have found themselves in our community. Let's do our part to make them welcome and provide what comforts we can. Sole Savers was able to deliver approximately 70 pairs of shoes from our shoe drive to Jewel's used clothing store in Smith's Falls today. Jewel's is coordinating provision of much needed clothing to the evacuees. PLease help if you can by donating to Jewel's on William Street in Smiths Falls.

New Chiropodist

Sole Savers is pleased to announce that we have a new staff member starting in July. Welcome to Brian Byung-Hyuk Woo BSc., D.Ch. our new Chiropodist. Brian has a strong background in kinesiology and sports injuries. He will be working at Body and Sole Health Centre with us on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Sole Savers packed up 150 pairs of lightly used shoes today to send to Soles4souls.org charity. Many will probably go to Japan. We still have a few more to sort and pack.
